Summary:

A girl grows up with six siblings a wary Father and a harsh Stepmother. Will the life of an artist that she dreams of become reality or will she live the life of serving her evil Stepmother.

Characters:

The characters include: Clover Moon; Mr Dolly; The Wicked Stepmother; Margaret Anna (megs) and many more.

Positives:

When there is some emotion in the book it sets a darker scene which is also called pathetic fallacy. There is creativity.

Negatives:

The description and vocabulary can sometimes get a bit tiring to read. The sentences aren't always exciting. I love most of her books, but I don't think this genre worked as well as her other books.

Parental Guidance:

There isn't really anything unsuitable. However, I would say that the age requirement is 9 to 11 plus, but you could read it at a younger age.

Verdict = Dead
